Silent Auction

New to ARTS by George! in 2008

This year the event will include a unique silent auction offering an array of arts experiences and items.  As you make your way through the student performances and sumptuous buffets, you can stop by the silent auction to bid on a variety of art related items.

The silent auction is open to ARTS by George! sponsors, event ticket buyers, and guests.  Each individual will receive a silent auction number upon event check-in.

Advance Bids

Advance bids are accepted for those who already know what they would like to bid on and for those who are not able to attend but have sponsored, purchased a ticket, or contributed to ARTS by George! To place your advance bid please complete the following by Friday, September 26 at noon.

§                     Email your name, phone number, silent auction item number, and your bid to Nyla Louh at nlouh1@gmu.edu or call (703)993-8641. 

§                     All advance bids will receive an email to confirm receipt and will be notified if a higher advance bid is placed and given an opportunity to submit a second advance bid.

§                     Starting bids must be equal to or greater than the minimum bid amount stated by each item.

§                     At noon on September 26, advance bids will close and the highest advance bid for each item will become the starting bid at the opening of the silent auction on September 27. 

§                     Winning bids: Payment is required at the conclusion of the evening for those in attendance on September 27.  All others must complete payment within one week following the event.  All sales are final, no exchanges or refunds.
